Emirates Living is the closest thing Dubai has to a settled suburb. The Springs, The Meadows, The Lakes and Emirates Hills were built between 2002 and 2006, which means mature trees, established lakes and pavements people walk on. It is the least transient community in the city—families move within it rather than out of it.
